Aroma is bread, lighter fruits, grain, fairly typical but clean at the same time. Medium to light body, VERY drinkable. Enjoyable for a blond but it’s still a blond. hayduke (1690), Eureka, California, USA

Nose of flowery hops and mild malts. Good clean mouthfeel. Nice flavors with hops sort of like a pils. Nice dry finish. IndianaRed (1562), Boise, Idaho, USA

Clear ligt yellow with a fine creamy white head. Light pale malt aroma a litte papery. Flavor is a soft wheaty light malt with a bit more bitterness at the end than I expected.
Light and tasty.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 11, 2007 On tap @ the brewery. Hop and citrus nose, and a strong pilsner flavor. I am not a pilsner fan, so I guess this was not a good match to begin with. Won’t try again. badlizard (2397), Berkeley, California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 19, 2007 On tap at Russian RIver, June 2007. Very pale, clear golden with a white head. Has a pleasant mix of what smelled like a cross between cascade and noble hops to me. Flavor has notes of pils malt, citrus, pine and grass. Very nice. The hop character makes a presence but not enough to scare off non-hophead folk. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Very good. Ernest (4515), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Body is light to medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (dough).
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Decent enough for the style, and certainly better than the RR Golden. awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 20, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a crystal clear, pale brass color with a thin layer of quickly diminishing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet, pale malts with a gentle clover honey touch and a smidgen of herbal hops. Light bodied, lightly carbonated mouthfeel that’s a bit slick and soft with carbonation. Clean, lightly bready malts with a grassy gentle hop finish. A touch on the sweet side for my preference, but light, sessionable, and refreshing for a hot summer day. A customer at the table next to me asked the waitress the dreaded question, "What’s the closest thing you have to Bud Light?" This beer would have been my response, although it may be sinful to draw that comparison. The waitress, not about to let the customer visit RR without being the least bit adventurous, responded, "Redemption." Cheers to that!
