Bottle @ Hamiltons. So delicious. Puckers you right up. Seems like a more fermented version of Temptation. Not for everyone, but for me, this was AOK. You can smell it right off the cork. This is going to be super sour. And it didn’t fail. If you’re reading this review, then you know what I am talking about. Well crafted and maintained through it’s process. So delicious.

Bottle. Really special. Nice sour aroma, some barnyard type qualities. First sip is tart, sour and acidic, in a really refreshing way. Nice juicy citrus flavours, and wild farmyard yeastyness. Well balanced and unbelievably refreshing. I need more of this!

My cousin graciously split a bottle of Batch 001 with me during the Super Bowl last night. Poured a cloudy brownish color, with a thin white head. Beautiful funky brett aroma that i have grown to love in RR’s barrel aged offerings. Tart, acidic flavor, with notes of wood. Delicious. In the future, I’ll have to sample this side-by-side with La Folie.

batch 001-PH1, 375ml bottle. cork pops off with an echoey SNAP! upon pouring, the haed rises quickly, becomes dense foamy off-white and crackles as it fades down quickly. color is a hazy amber-orange, with a fair amount of fizz in the body. aroma is sour cherry and sweat, a little cheesy. flavor is tart and sour, lots of carbonation. dry white wine, muddy green apples in the bottom of a wet bushel basket, and a spritz of meyer lemon flavors too. thanks MoeJuck for this in trade!!

1/31/07, a day to remember! 375ml bottle Batch 001-PH1 via trade with Tever, many thanks Tom. This brew came today perfect timing for a celebration. Ever since sampling supplication around thanksgiving I have been eargerly awaiting this brew. The pour is cloudy yellowish/orange with a nice white head that is slowly fading into a ring and an island in the middle. The aroma is sour, strong and enticing. The taste is really very intense it has elements of gueze in taste and smell. It is tart, sour and tasty. This is really a stellar sour beer. This is a truly phenomenal taste experience, although I have trouble describing the tastes of this type of brew it is really wonderful. Great beer on a great day personally for me. Thanks again Tom, you made my day even better.

Bottle via Vinnie from RR comping me due to my mistake (yep Vinnie frakkin’ rules!). Been saving this for 6 months. pours an almost clear copper with no head. Nose is sour melon & cherry fruity esters. This is the most highly carbonated & sour beer that i have tasted (for a non-infected beer). Apples, cherries, mass carbonation. Carbonation is so high it almost ruins it.... this is like Temptation with triple the carbonation...ehh..let’s go back to the temptation which was almost perfect!
