Mostly transparent, coppery amber colored body with a finger of fizzy off-white head. Aromas of lightly toasty malt and some mild-moderate minty hops. Low-moderate fruity ester qualities and a faint caraway-like spiciness in the background. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel with a soft, malty texture. Somewhat sweet, lightly toasted malt with a rye-bread flavor profile. A moderate hop presence balances the malt nicely and provides an earthy, minty flavor. Moderate fruity esters provide a subtle red fruit dimension that enhances the malt perception somewhat. Clean and pleasant to drink and showcases all of the stylistic dimensions nicely, but a bit more of an assertive hop character would be nice.
