| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 8, 2009 Yeah, this is a top notch drink. One small, teeny, tiny, notch below the Elder but still and incredible drink. Tasty grapefruit and citrus hops. Blast of orange peel aroma. Cloudy orange color with a creamy white head that gives an added texture to the drink. Lots of hops here but I completely missed the malt profile and wonder if that could be put up front a little more for some balance. blankboy (3198), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a slightly hazy orange with an average size bubbly white head. Lovely aroma of resiny hops, fruity and malty as well -- amazing! Flavour: Delicious, juicy hoppy goodness, so easy to drink, the alcohol is totally hidden. Nice full mouthfeel. Fantastic! bblack99 (202), Kansas City, Missouri, USA

Pours a color gradient, from orangey-copper under the huge cap of infinitely-lasting white puffy head to a cloudy gold at the bottom. Strong smell of both clean piney hops and citrusy hops. Flavor is smooth and incredibly bitter at the same time, with a warming finish. Flavorful, wheaty malt makes a great base for the apricot and grapefruit citrus notes. Easy to drink for an IPA! | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jul 4, 2009 Bottle from IrishBoy. Thanks! Just found this rating hidden in my ratings book. Pours a deep, thick, lively apricot orange with a nice white head. Aroma is sweet citrus tempered by a definite sour grapefruit and semi-sweet pine resin. Hints of orange juice in there as well. Flavor is a cornucopia of grapefruits, oranges, peaches, pine, and a touch of strawberry. Thick, lingering mouthfeel that simply sticks the flavors onto the tastebuds. I will never turn one of these down. Ever.
