Bottled. Thanks to larsniclas. Hazy golden colour, with low white head. Great aroma from dry-hopping, there is vanilla, grape and mandarines. Flavourwise an ultra-clean hop-juicy backbone from grapes and orange-peels. Well attenuated and really bitter. Medium bodied, and focused on the hops rather than the maltiness. Great beer!

Shady pale golden color, white head. Chinook hops, pineapple, sweet caramel scent, smells "bitter". Slight acidic, dry, bitter taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

Great IPA, but more rough around the edges as compared to Pliny the Elder. Slight astrigency on the nose and the alcohol is more noticeable, even though the ABC is 2% under Pliny. Still, a well rounded, tasty IPA with strong hop flavor, that gets stronger as it warms. Even with less hops, this is a hoppier beer than Pliny since there is less malt there to balance. Very good Pacific NW IPA.

2009-02-28. Lightly hazy golden orange body with a lovely fluffy white head. Aroma is a touch muted at first in an overly chilled pour, but lovely hop profile develops as it warms. Resiny, light melange of citrus and citrus seeds comes out nicely. Flavour starts out with a rush of citrus, then moves toward more resiny hops and some lightly astringent grapefruit and other citrus seeds. Smooth average palate. Rather nice. Bottle c/o acrdz

On tap at Naked City. Pours clear golden amber with a minimal white head. Citrus hop smell. Earthy floral hop taste with a loooooooooooong biiiiiiiiiittttttttttttter finish like leaving an aspirin on your tongue.

Pours gold with a white head. Smells of layered citrus, peppery and some caramel. Tastes citrussy and dry with a balanced bitterness on the finish.

gold body with a white head, very hoppy, flavors are sweet, washy, not bad, but surprisingly, not great, finishes very bitter, a bit chilly, which is killing flavor and aroma.
