bottled, many thanks to mwsf for bringing this to plzen. almost clear orange colour with a light off-white head. fantastic aroma of pine, mandarin, vanilla wafers, freshly-mown grass. plenty of grapefruit and pine flavours with some toffeed apple and a big burst of citric bitterness. excellent ipa!

Growler from the brewpub. Pours a clear copper with a minimal white head. Super hopped aroma that is piney and citrusy with a nice malt back. Flavor is citrusy hop, then malt, then hop again on the finish. Amazing beer.

pour is orange gold with a nice lasting white head. the kind of aroma i can lose myself in. the hops are coming at me from all different directions. piney, yep, grassy, a bit, citrus, yeah that is there, herbal, well, maybe not, but this smells awesome. resiny malt flavor that worjks a great balance. the tightrope is walked with skill. citrus comes out strong but never dominates too much. a great fing beer.

Wow great IPA, on draft at the falling rock in Denver, beautiful orange-golden color with nice white head, fresh hop aromo, piney, citrussy. The bitterness is balanced with the malt flavors and overall extremely drinkable beer. One of my favorites.

Pint draft at the Falling Rock in Denver, Colorado. Pour is cloudy yellow golden. Nice two inch white head, which is quite lasting. Very thick and pretty lacing left behind as the head slowly falls. Aroma of fresh citrus and pine hops. Bright, clean, just nice and inviting. Taste is the big resin hoppiness of the nose. The malt is present but very in the background. Palate is thinnish, clean, resin, tasty. Nice IPA.

Golden color out of the bottle with a big, frothy white head. Very fresh, aromatic floral hop. Piney hops in the fore with the grapefruit citrus notes coming toward the finish. Caramel, apricot, tangerine all in the mix. The hops win the battle of the balance, but for hop heads, this is a very nice beer.

Bottled 09/05/08. Pours clear gold. Near-rocky sticky pillowy beige head. Steady stream of tiny bubbles rising. Clean white grapefruit aroma. Dry. Dripping with hops. Bitter of course. Herbaceous, leafy green. Reminds me of a leaner 2007 Hopslam when it was still good. Very tasty proficient IPA.
