KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 7, 2008 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Beerlando. Pours a hazy, golden color. Big, fluffy, light white head. Wonderful citrus aroma, with hints of grapefruit and a bit of lemon zest. Nice lacing throughout. Flavor is a perfect balance of sweet malts and hoppy resins. Long bitter finish. What a wonderful beer, one of the best. Dedoulequeen07 (136), london, Greater London, England Oct 7, 2008 Bottle shared with magic dave. What can i say gorgeous. Massive fruity aroma - tropical fruits, peaches and peaches dominate with licks of citrus hops. Flavour is grassy and piney with a refreshing hoppy finish and great balance of bitterness. Great body and mouthfeel. V Tasty and definetly one i would like to taste again. BDR (2139), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Oct 6, 2008 Wonderfully carbonated harvest orange body. The pure white head started out with three inches of foam and hasn’t quite disappeared thirty minutes later. A nice hoppy aroma. The body was fantastically bitter with a nice drying finish. FlssmrBrewAlum (1079), Lisle, Illinois, USA Oct 6, 2008 Updated: Oct 8, 2008500 ml bottle from the brewpub and drank promptly. This was the beer not on tap that I had to drink outside of my sampler later. Poured a beautiful hazed golden amber with a wonderful offwhish head that sticks around and laces well. Aromas are bitter, wonderful with citrus and piney resinous notes. Yum. Taste is similar. This beer really does deliver everything fresh it has advertised, this coming from a midwesterner who has quite a few stellar IPAs around him. Medium bodied and full of character, sweetness is balanced, however the hops definitely steal the show, lots of grapefruit and pine, no dissappointment. Can’t wait till the case of RR brews I shipped home arrives. Cheers, RateBeer! dmac (1420), Toms River, New Jersey, USA Oct 6, 2008 500 ml bottle thrown in as one awesome ass extra from mashmaster, thanks Tom. First off let me start by saying "Wow" this beer deserves all the hype/praise it has been getting. Pours a slightly hazedr orangey flat body with an average size fluffy white head. Aroma is hopriffic with loads of hops, citrus and pine but also has a good amount of sweetness that is reminiscent of DFH 120 Minute IPA. Medium bodied with a good solid mouthfeel, average carbonation and a bitter finish, spot on. Flavors of citrus rind, grapefruit, biscuits and dry floral notes. I am really torn on this beer. On one hand I wished I opened it with some other local RBerians so they could expierence this great IPA but then if I did that there would have been less for me. I think I made the right choice on drinking this one alone. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Oct 6, 2008 Bottle, thanks to BrianK for bringing this back from CA. A hazy orange yellow body with a big grapefruit piney nose and flavor. A solid ipa with a crisp hop finish. Good beer. oakbluff (298), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Oct 5, 2008 Sampled from bottle- pours a cloudy light orange, minimal soapy head. Nose- sweet candied fruit, light piney perfume. Taste- soapy juicy grapefruit rinds, light biscuity malts. Medium bodied hop delivery vehicle. Oily hops leave a dry finish with some orange aftertaste.
