Nice peach/gold/copper color. Very little head but leaves some nice lacing. Fresh and pungent citrus hop aroma. Not hard to smell this one at all. Very lovely IPA aroma, and I can’t get enough of it. Focuses heavily on the citrus hop aroma. Nice smooth beer, and a very fresh and clean hop profile. Nice citrus hop flavor that is amazing and nice. Also, there is a slight malt sweetness to balance it out. The malt is VERY subtle. The bittering hop is just so nice along with the rest of the hop profile. Truly and amazing IPA, I hope to try this again soon. matt7215 (956), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada

Pliny the Younger...no wait, that’s taken. But definitely Pliny-esque, on a smaller scale. Pours a clear light amber with off-white head. Aroma of big resinous hops, pine, and grapefruit. Tastes of grapefruit and piney hops, with a bit of sweet malt backbone. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry, very quenching. Definitely a great IPA!! GranvilleTim (477), Granville, Illinois, USA

Not as big of an aroma as I’d like, but smelled of sweet citrus hops. Huge hop forefront that finished nice and bitter that lasts. Excellent IPA! natejgood (189), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 2, 2009 Pours a medium golden color with a think white head made up of small bubbles. The beer is fairly opaque in the glass. The aroma is a combination of hops and citrus fruit, and those characteristics carry over into the flavor. The beer is crisp in the mouth and has a number of small bubbles. mezr (6), California, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 31, 2009 Bottled on 12/15/2009. Found in a small beer refrigerator in the back corner of a local wine shop, hidden behind a couple sixers of Stone Ruination IPA. Pours a nice straw color, a little hazy, with a medium, white head. Nice lacing. The first thing I noticed was the smell … as soon as I cracked the cap. A potent mix of pine and citrus. Light carbonation, medium bodied. A very refreshing, enjoyable beer.
