Bright clear gold with a large loose white head. Pine, citrus mango and a hint of bar soap in the aroma. Very hoppy in flavor and a bit on the sweet side. A little thin in body and a little undercarbonated. Has some honey malt flavor underlying the strong pine and citrus. Quite bitter also.

Dec 17, 2009 Bottle: Very pale golden, moreso a darker straw, moderate to large frothy white head, nice lacing, light carbonation. Big strong floral hop aroma. Some citrus rind, very faint earthiness/soil. Tangy and tart on the tongue. Certainly hoppy but not overly biting. Bark is harsher than the bite, so to speak. Very flavorful. Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full. Finishes long, lingering hop smoothness with hints of soil and rind. Liked this one more than all their other examples.

Dec 5, 2009 Such a great beer. Aroma is intense fresh hops.....lots of citrus/grapefruit. Gorgeous yellow and not too clear to look thin. Taste and palate are incredible...big and intense flavors but soft and delicate at the same time. Lots of hop flavors but not harsh.....very smooth.

Bottle: The aroma has lots of grapefruit along with mango and pineapple. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a small soapy white head. The flavor starts with a quick dose of mango. The finish has lots of grapefruit and light pine. Light-medium bodied with mild carbonation.

Dec 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours sparkling golden with a lasting 2 finger off white head. Aroma is pungent citrus and pine with a touch of fruity floral sweetness. Flavor is resinous, citrusy, pine, and a clean, surprisingly mild bitterness that lingers nicely. A slight malt backbone. Medium bodied and well carbonated.

Dec 2, 2009 Updated: Dec 4, 2009This beer was fantastic. Even upon opening I could smell a wonderful bouquet of floral hops and sweet malts. Poured a golden orange color with a fluffy, moderately fast declining head, was probably my pour. Later pours into my glass rendered only a small white head. Aroma is grassy, malty, with a wonderful, but not an overpowering hop hit. Flavor is a nice balance of citrus, pine, and malts.

Dec 1, 2009 500th rating, and it’s a good one. Bottle from South Bay Drugs. Pours a clear orange-gold color with some haze and a white head. The aroma is perfect for an IPA. I could smell this all day. "Pine and pot," as described by one guy smelling it, the aroma has spectacular floral notes, citrus, pineapple, pine hops, caramel malt- wow. Pine, citrus, hops, and malt all show up in the flavor as well, which has a nice bitter bite to it along with some fruit and caramel sweetness. Light-medium bodied, so easy to drink, and refreshing any time of year. Get one of these fresh and enjoy.

Nov 29, 2009 Fresh bottle from Nick D, thanks! Blonde. Grapefruit, melon, pineapple and oily hops in the aroma. Firm oily citric, grassy hopbitter but also very fruity flavor. lemon, pineapple, mango. Thinnish, but with loads of flavor. Fresh and very drinkable. Excellent!

Aroma of pineapple, orange, flowers, fresh fruit, citrus. this is tight. flavor pine, grapefruit, citrusy hops. this is awesome. very drinkable. out of this world nose.
