| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 25, 2009 Hazy beautiful gold with a restrained and tight white cover. Basically, we have a spot on, archetypal Californian IPA loaded with flavours. A tasty earthy, sandy and especially orangey, fleshy IPA with no alcohol noticed and the tightest malt profile. Expressive hops have all the room they deserve, the presentation is classy, the drinkability is optimal. What more can one want besides having more bottles in the cellar?

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 26, 2007 Had on tap at Lucky Baldwins in late June 2006: Pours a clear copper bronze with a frothy and well-lacing white head. Rich, fresh, piny grapefruity hoppy aroma has a light caramel malty balance. Body starts with a mild toasty caramel sweetness and big fresh citrus hoppy flavor drying some toward a crisp bitter finish. An enjoyable hoppy IPA.
