500ml bottle, bright yellow gold color, with frothy whithe head, very good floral hop citrusy nose of grapefruit, with some resinous, piney, coniferous accents with a hint of crunchy caramel malt in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, flowery hop coniferous character, with some pine niddle, cedary accents, with a hint of fresh mintiness, some oily lemon peel citrusy, with some toasty malt undertones, leading towards a fruity, zesty, citrusy, coniferous hop bittering finish.

Bottle from Beerguy101. I had this on tap at Toronado San Diego, but I was socializing and not rating. Pours a very nice amber orange with a slight haze, with a huge foamy and retentive off white head. Body is on the lighter side of medium, with a light but not watery texture. Fresh hop aroma of exotic fruit. Hops dominate the flavor, starting sweet grapefruit and moving to grass and pine. Finish is semi dry, very bitter, with lots of lingering grapefruit rind. A nice hophead session beer.

Courtesy of kmweaver. Hazy pale with a small white head. Massive grapefruit and tangerine nose with an unfortunate crystal malt note underneath. The flavor is lightly sweet, with ice tea, grapefruit, some pine, tangerine and a bit of cattiness. Medium body is round with moderate carbonation.

On tap @ Toronado. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Very light sweetness with a moderate bitterness. Heavy hopsaromas of flowers, grepefruit and spruce and a hint of plant sap. Light to medium bodied. Average carbonation. Bitter finish.

Pours golden amber with just a little bit of haze. Thick and sticky pure white head. Aroma is full of clean citrus. Grapefruit and bubble gum. The flavor comes off as pine right down to the prickly bitter finish. Medium body, but drinks fairly light. Long bitter finish. I can surely see why the west coast guy sing Blind Pig’s praises.

500ml from Liquormax - thanks, Nick! A glowing jewel of a pour. Wow, so handsome, with a few floaties sitting in the moderate head. Absolutely booming citrus hop aroma too. Crisp and full bodied, with some surprising depth given how aggressive the hops are. Really excellent.

Tasted 8/13/09. 500ml bottle. Bottled on March 3 2009. Mildly sedimented with a deep golden hue. Brain and ring of off-white head. Good nose with hints of citrus grapefruit and sweet breads. Nice earthy note. Medium bodied and rather sharp on the initial sip. Astringent effervescence. Tingling hoppy flavor. Solid palate. Good roast on the malt aspect. Finishes sweet with a mildly cloying aspect. Good flavor and on the dry side. Fruity and tasty. Big bitterness but still with a solid sessionable quality.
