| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 13, 2008 Small tan head, good retention with a nice stringy lace left behind. Hazy gold with a light copper hue. Big ol hop nose, pine, earth, grass and grapefruit with soft malt backing. Body is med/full, chewy, resiny and coating on the palate. Strong hop flavors, grapefruit, pine and sosme cedar notes. Faint maltiness, fairly dry, lightly toasty from what i can find under the serious hop blanket. Dry, citrusy biggass hop finish, lingering lovingly, bite. A manly IPA for sure. Props to cloudskipper for the bottle! Odeed (1673), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 22, 2008 Pint draft at the Falling Rock in Denver, Colorado. Pour is cloudy yellow golden. Nice two inch white head, which is quite lasting. Very thick and pretty lacing left behind as the head slowly falls. Aroma of fresh citrus and pine hops. Bright, clean, just nice and inviting. Taste is the big resin hoppiness of the nose. The malt is present but very in the background. Palate is thinnish, clean, resin, tasty. Nice IPA. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is dominated by sweet citrus hoppiness. Flavor is a nice citrus hop, sweet mix of goodness. Some light and sweet malts here, but mostly just solid IPA. The way all IPAs should be - perfect malt/hop balance for a regular IPA. Vinny is a genious with this stuff! hayduke (1654), Eureka, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 11, 2007 Had a pint of this at the brewpub while I picking up a Growler of Pliny . Aroma of citrus hops and a nice dark golden color and a small pub style head and thin lacing. Mouthfeel was delightful and very crisp and refreshing. Flavor was of various citrus and fruits such as orange and apricot. Good long bitter and dry finish. A very good IPA, ranking up there with the very best. A hophead’s delight. Can’t even describe the balance. flavor doesn’t quite live up to the aroma, but still pretty good, piney and floral. Medium thin body with good bittering but not a lingering finish. Solid
