May 2, 2009 Bottle: The highlight of the IPA samples series, after a few IPA samples (and losing the numbness) we tasted this one with ramenen. Bold, lots of pine, resin, grass surprisingly dry non of the oiliness one might expect. Clear with lots of fragments floating around.

Oct 15, 2007 GABF 2007. The best IPA I sampled @ the fest. Strong hop character, much like a IIPA w/out the malt to back it up. Just pure hops. Momma like.

Oct 18, 2008 Cold bottle from Joey @ Southbay. A bright but not overly fruity aroma, and this continues in the very smooth flavor. While the hops are present, they aren’t at all isolated - a perfect presence here from the foamy head to the very slightly salty finish. Perfect size for a bottle, too.

Aug 4, 2008 Bottle at RBSG grand tasting. Thanks to whoever brought this.Pours a cloudy yellow with an ample white head. The aroma was green with chlorophyll hops and a bit of pine. The flavor was biter hops forward with pine and tangy grapefruit. The mouthfeel is full and malty. The finish is long with lingering hops. Overall: This is a superbly well crafted IPA, biter but not harshly so. Another winner.

Aug 5, 2008 500ml bottle, Thanks to cdumelr at Richmond Summer Gathering @ Williamsburg. Pours clear golden in color with white head. Aroma of citrus hops and hops. Taste is dry and citrus hops with dry and bitter finish.

Nov 11, 2009 bottle, thanks to wavers1! Pours light orange with a medium frothy white head. Pine and grapefruit hop aromas. Sweet pale malt and a slight toasted/nutty maltyness are cut sharply by a very nice hop bitterness more on the pine/peppery side than citrus. Nice and dry finish, a solid IPA.

Aug 18, 2008 Bottle courtesy of thecheeseman. Pours orange with off white head. Big pine, grass and grapefruit aroms. Similar flavors with some sweet maltiness lingering around. Medium body with average carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel. A very good IPA.

Aug 23, 2008 Trade from Ross. Thanks man! Pours a hazy golden color with bubbly medium white head. Aroma is of light pineapple, grapefruit and a bit of orange. Taste is citrus hops with a touch of orange pith, lemon peel, and mild malt backbone. Lightly carbonated and quite bitter in the finish, this was good but not as good as the Green Flash I recently had.
