Bottle via Dunk, thanks Steve! That lasted in the fridge less than 24hrs. Pours golden/copper color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, caramel, floral. Flavor is huge blast of pine, citrus notes, that settle into caramel and grapefruit. Palate is medium+, medium carbonation, finished bitter. Resiny finish, sticky on the lips. Surprised its only 70IBU, ranks up with the best IPA’s!!

Like a toned down "Pliny the Elder," this beer is a good, piney, IPA. The hops hit you right off and sustain. ON SECOND ANALYSIS: Had this on tap at RR with a clean palate - OMG this stuff is good! Has that dank flavor the best IPA’s do!

Copper color with thin, foam, white head. Smell is strong pine with grapefruit. Excellent smell. Taste is actually a little less bold than the smell would suggest. Slightly sweet, but smooth and not ultra-bitter. Very good IPA.

hazy orange pour with a thin off white head. Aroma of citrusy orange hops. Flavor has orange and grapefruit with a strong caramel and toffee malt balance. a touch of pine rounds out the hops. Bitterness is medium, well balanced.

Graciously given to me as a gift from Sparky27. Poured into a snifter, golden amber color with a nice head. Aroma of citrus hops. Taste is citrus hops, piney nice malt touch to keep it balanced but the texture is a little watery for my likeing. Basically a good beer but no Alesmith IPA... thanks E.****Update***bottle from josh... Nice IPA.. Grassy, fruity, citrus, all the typical west coast traits...

Pours a lovely golden color, with a nice fluffy head. Some pine flavors mixed with a wonderful piney hop taste. This stuff smells amazing. If you have ever opened a very fresh bag of Northern California Marijuana, that’s what I smell. Amazing stuff. The original IIPA.

Tap. Light caramel note for the malt, heavy note of orange/grapefruit and pine for the hops, and a light smell of dough and musty for the yeast with apple and wood in the background. Head is small, creamy, white, has excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is a clear amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately bitter, then the very long finish is moderately acidic and heavily bitter. Palate is medium, oily/creamy and has a carbonation between soft and lively. It finishes astringent and very dry and crisp. This a fantastic IPA.

On tap at Naked City. Holy stuffings Batman! This beer was great. Nice peach/gold/copper color. Very little head but leaves some nice lacing. Fresh and pungent citrus hop aroma. Not hard to smell this one at all. Very lovely IPA aroma, and I can’t get enough of it. Focuses heavily on the citrus hop aroma. Nice smooth beer, and a very fresh and clean hop profile. Nice citrus hop flavor that is amazing and nice. Also, there is a slight malt sweetness to balance it out. The malt is VERY subtle. The bittering hop is just so nice along with the rest of the hop profile. Truly and amazing IPA, I hope to try this again soon.
