| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 2, 2008 Aroma is orangy as fuck. All of the good IPAs seem to have the same hop profile. All fucking oranges. Some malt complexities- okay, I lied. All fucking caramel and orange.
Taste is orange, some bitterness, well, a lot of bitterness, but creamy and smooth.
Finish lingers like nobodies business.
Awesome. changeup45 (791), Orlando, Florida, USA

This beer pours an orange color with a thick off-white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is really nice and hoppy with a pine scent, floral and citrusy. The flavor consists of a generous amount of piney hops with some citrus orange as well as a little lemon. Crisp bitterness and a bit dry in the finish. Nice malt backing too. This is terrific and can probably stand up to any IPA out there. Thanks again zythum! This was even better the second time I had it, if that’s possible. padrefan98 (788), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA

Pours a beautiful thick head which has good retention, followed by attractive lacing, over a golden body with many tiny floaters....nose is enormous with heavy bursts of pine, resin, grapefruit, ?vanilla....tastes of slight malts initially then the burst of grapefruit and resin, finishing with a relatively light lingering bitterness...mouth fell is medium. A well balanced and appropriately praised American style IPA. 12/3/2008 fakepurseninja (784), Washington, USA

Nice drop but I don’t think anything is going to compare that favourably to following a mint condition AleSmith IPA. Richer base malt, slightly more minerally, tending English almost, but with all the hop characters of a new world ale. Bluddy guid. slimchill (780), Austin, Texas, USA
