On Tap at 2005 Bistro IPA fest. Light orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is orange, citrus and floral hops. A light to medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of orange and orange peel flavors Hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Medium bitter IPA. Nice balance between the malts and hops. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Cask Version On cask at O’Brien’s. This IPA pours an orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is piney and floral. Malts are fruity and sweet, touch of caramel. Hops are very juicy, floral and piney, without a lot of hop bitterness, There is some hop bitterness in the finish but that is all. Very soft mouthfeel and carbonation. Nicely balanced. The bitterness at the finish builds as you go. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. 2009-02-28. Lightly hazy golden orange body with a lovely fluffy white head. Aroma is a touch muted at first in an overly chilled pour, but lovely hop profile develops as it warms. Resiny, light melange of citrus and citrus seeds comes out nicely. Flavour starts out with a rush of citrus, then moves toward more resiny hops and some lightly astringent grapefruit and other citrus seeds. Smooth average palate. Rather nice. Bottle c/o acrdz

This 9/5/08 bottled brew from a rating party at JSquires poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized bubbles that were and left behind a transparent very softly carbonated yellow-orange colored body. The strong aroma was hoppy. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong hoppy aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

Bottle. Large light creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Somewhat cloudy golden amber color. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, peach, caramel, mild toasted malt. Quite nice and smooth with a twist of dry. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor. Lingering dry bitter fruity finish.

Bottle, thanks to BrianK for bringing this back from CA. A hazy orange yellow body with a big grapefruit piney nose and flavor. A solid ipa with a crisp hop finish. Good beer.

(Hand-bottled, thanks Esa K.) Clear amber with a small, bright white head. Very crisp, lemony-piney aroma. Crisply aromatic-hoppy, pine-resiny flavor with some exotic fruitiness. Very dry and bitter mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Nicely drinkable for the amount of hops. Like the first batches of Severin, but without the cat-pee, and even drier and more bitter.

[Cask at O’Brien’s] Poured a lightly hazy, copper color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, pine resin, floral hops and faint malts as well. Taste was super, tangerine and other citrus fruits, more pine and a strong grapefruit bitterness. The IBUs are incredible on this one.
