Smells almost like I just ripped open a packet of Cascade hops. Plenty of orange and a little vegetal/grassy. Moderate orange taste. Light bitterness. Sweet, light malt. Oddly pretty light for what I was expecting. It’s solid, but not overwhelming at all. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 13, 2007 Well hot damn, I hadnt heard anything about this and was remarkably surprised when having it. Draught pint at PP Carlsbad on 3/24/07 while waiting in line for pizza. Very nice pale-golden body has a hint of straw and a medium amount of white head. Slight chill-haze, modestly carbonated. Damn! That’s a dry and very nicely dry-hopped aroma. No malt to speak of, or rather, none that gets in the way of the hops. Clear and brisk lemon-lime, with even a hint of spiciness, followed by dry, but not overly acidic grapefruit. Some light pale malts provide a hint of sweetness, for balance, akin to powdered sugar atop nectarines (mixing with the hops), with a pinch of some biscuit notes. The rest is just pure aromatic, dry-hopped heaven, very fresh, crisp and in your face, though not overdone on acidity. Light herbal notes, with stronger wintergreen and dry melon. Phew, that’s nice! Perfectly attenuated, with malt left for a smooth texture, but only minimal, lightly crisp, grainy flavors. More nectarine, lychee, lemon, grapefruit and soft pine on the finish. Tight carbonation for a draught beer, leads to an almost creamy mouthfeel which further helps balance the very dry nature of the beer. Dry, yellow fruitiness lingers on, with melon and lychee. Just delicious stuff and incredibly drinkable for its dryness. No alcohol or flaws, of course. Great restraint on the bitterness/acidity. gnoff (3573), Göteborg, Sweden

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 10, 2009 Had in bottle and tap a few times, none was better than the growler brought to Kramers tasting - I think Axilla or Miver? Insane stuff! Pours a light coppery orange slight haze and a massive tight pure white head. aroma is straight up dank and resinous similar to fresh weed, ridiculous with the simcoe and amarillo- tons of fruit and pine. Flavor is resinous as hell, sticky piny, overload of simcoe, and dank kind bud- with a spicy kick- harsh tacky raw bitterness that cuts through what little malt backbone is in there which is just awesome. Pours a thin, white, frothy head and an orange, sediment-filled body with no-carbonation. Nose of pineapple, green leaves, tangerines and bitter hops. Flavours of tart Seville oranges, mild amber malt, and great bitterness to hoppy, pine-cone resin finish. 8/4/8/3/15 larsniclas (3386), Gothenburg, Sweden

Hazy golden colour, with low white head. Great aroma from dry-hopping, there is vanilla, grape and mandarines. Flavourwise an ultra-clean hop-juicy backbone from grapes and orange-peels. Well attenuated and really bitter. Medium bodied, and focused on the hops rather than the maltiness. Great beer! ratman197 (3240), Arvada, Colorado, USA
