Oct 14, 2008 Tap @ RR. Clear golden color, short head. Sharp piney hops, some fruit as well in aroma. Good malty body. Nice bitter palate. Great stuff.

Oct 1, 2008 Stefanje you are the man. Thanks for this bottle. Wow what an amazing hop bomb! Golden pour with a white head. Aroma is citrus and pine. Some malts can be had in the nose, but the power of the hops takes over! And then the flavor...tastes like biting into a nice big chunk of grapefruit skin...also some pine notes in it. I could sit and live off the aroma of this beer for days...and the flavor is just plain amazing.

Nov 18, 2008 Thick white head on amber. Delicious sweet wood and grapefruit aroma. Lightly mouth drying. Citrus up front then woody notes blending back into more citrus in the finish. Solid.

Apr 9, 2006 On tap at the Toronado. Rich gold in color with a white head. Thick hop aroma. Flowery, but not very citrus-like. Flavor is a different story: Love at first sip! This could be grapefruit juice. Tastes like you’re drinking a freakin’ citrus tree! Fantastic.

Jul 21, 2008 Bottle. A very solid single IPA. Pours a clear burnt gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is very fresh piney and grapefruit hops, kumquats too. Really good tasting IPA with earthy and grapefruit elements. Light carbonation, somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Great litttle bottle of beer.

Oct 17, 2005 Draught. Golden beer with a thin white head. Grapefruit and tropical fruit aroma. Grapefruit, pine, apricot, tropical fruit hop flavors with some sweet malt backing. Nice bitterness. Finish is a little woody/grainy.

Aug 29, 2009 Superb aroma of resinous, citrusy hops and exotic fruits. The pour reveals a cloudy golden color with a thin white head. Solid flavor of resinous, citrusy hops over a light, creamy body. This IPA is amazing, I want more and more of this.

Jul 31, 2008 Updated: Aug 1, 2008Sample at O’Brien’s in San Diego. Pours a deep bronze color with a medium thin downy white head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Pine and lemony citrus aroma. Medium-bodied and moderately bitter with pine, hops and citrus flavors in varying degrees. Some malt is present as well. The finish is hoppy and resinous with a lingering bitterness afterward. Not much to complain about here.
