Bottle, with Alaskanwarren in Denver. Shiny copper, white head. Fresh woodsy nose, grapefruit and a surprising peppermint brightness. Crisp, bright hop flavor, something sharp and wintery about it. Cold steel, mint. Light/medium body with a gentle touch of sweet. As much as this is a beer with a lot of flavor impact, it isn’t just a shouting match—it really has an excellent sense of poise. Remarkably good IPA.

Bottle, thanks Dr. Bill! Light golden color with a wispy foam that lasts well. Very nice nose, which is dominated by very bright woodsy hops, with other light notes of resin and lemon from the hops. Flavor hoppiness and bitterness is very bold and impressive, and lingers in the finish very well. The hops are raw, pure, well utilized and again, they linger well after the swallow. Flavor hops are similar to the nose and can best be described as very woodsy. A minor critique, it doesn’t have a lot of body, but the finish makes up for it. Overall, really nice IPA.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light orange. Aromas of fresh citrus and a little mango or something. Flavor is a good mix of caramel malt, grapefruit and oranges with a little bit of abv warmth.

Bottle courtesy of Summer Santa 09. Good mix of citrus and floral notes for aroma. Copper body big white head and good lacing left on glass. Dry resin grapefruit and some sweet citrus orange flavor. Cool and crisp on the palate mighty fine refreshment. Thanks BuckeyeBoy.

On draft at Teresa’s. Poured light orange with egg-white head. Nose of fresh grapefruits. Flavor consists of freshly sliced fruits: orange, grapefruit, even some pineapple noticeable. Probably underrated as some people try incorrectly to compare it to the Plinys. One of the best IPAs out there.

Bottle. Sampled 7/28, bottled 7/23. 5 days in the bottle, ballin. Lots of fresh, grassy, floral, spicy, bitter hops and enough malt to give it some body. Excellently unbalanced. Medium body, balanced carbonation. Dry finish, very drinkable. Great IPA.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange-gold. Big passionfruit and grapefruit husk and resin aroma. Hop driven palate all the way. Tropical fruit and conifer oils. Slightly soapy. Decent malt structure without being sweet or heavy. Crisp dry finish that is very bitter.
