Jul 12, 2008 On tap @ Tornado San Diego. Pours a clear golden yellow with a 2 finger white head. Bursting with floral and citrus hop aromas. A perfect balance between malt and hops on this one....well......maybe a bit heavier on the hops.....lol.

Aug 23, 2008 A great IPA from Russian River. Refreshing and flavorful. Pours a slightly hazy gold/orange with fluffy white head. Citrus, lemon zest, grapefruit, floral hops, tropical fruit (mango), pine, caramel malt, and biscuits. I would drink this all the time if I could get a hold of it.

Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a thin and lacy white head. Medium-to-light body and moderate carbonation. Grapefruit, floral and resin aroma. Sweet taste of caramel and oranges. Crisp finish. Nice stuff.

Aug 30, 2008 500ml from Liquormax - thanks, Nick! A glowing jewel of a pour. Wow, so handsome, with a few floaties sitting in the moderate head. Absolutely booming citrus hop aroma too. Crisp and full bodied, with some surprising depth given how aggressive the hops are. Really excellent.

Oct 29, 2008 Draught at Falling Rock Taphouse - served in a plactic cup. Clear yellow/golden - white head. High high hoppy, very lovely, peach, grape, grass, wet grass, resin, high bitterness, light malty, light sweetness. Very nice.

Jan 21, 2007 Updated: Jul 15, 2007Served on tap at Toronado, sf. I hate tasting in a bar; much prefer having a new beer in quiet setting, especially good beers like this. That said, it’s easy to tell that this is a solid IPA. Would love to compare it with others at home.

Aug 23, 2008 Pours a golden color, with minute particles that make it cloudy - a thin foamy white head. Aroma is amazing - pineapple juice, grapefruit, and a bit of syrupy malt characteristics. The taste is very smooth (minor carbonation). Taste is a bit of orange pith, some citrus, with a bitter finish. Very good, but nothing revolutionary to me.
