Wonderfully bitter from beginning to end. Balanced flavor. mezr (6), California, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 31, 2009 Bottled on 12/15/2009. Found in a small beer refrigerator in the back corner of a local wine shop, hidden behind a couple sixers of Stone Ruination IPA. Pours a nice straw color, a little hazy, with a medium, white head. Nice lacing. The first thing I noticed was the smell … as soon as I cracked the cap. A potent mix of pine and citrus. Light carbonation, medium bodied. A very refreshing, enjoyable beer. stoliver54 (4), Colorado, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 28, 2009 Rather nice, almost copper color. Little head, smell is very nice. Very smooth drinking IPA, bitterness is there but it comes at you softly. Tasty beverage. papajohn (1055), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 20, 2009 Thanks Jason! Six week old bottle. Blind Pig pours a hazy honey brown color with a smallish off white tan head. Light carbonation is visible. Aroma is not big and offers citrus, caramel, and pine. Flavor begins with a tart and bitter hop bite that is sweetened by caramel. While the hops are assertive they are also pillow soft at times. There is some nice pepper spice that shows up as the beer warms. The hops are so delightfully complex and well crafted. This is what an IPA should be! I was sorry to see the bottom of the glass. argo0 (6982), Washington DC, USA

Very fresh, aromatic floral hop. Piney hops in the fore with the grapefruit citrus notes coming toward the finish. Caramel, apricot, tangerine all in the mix. The hops win the battle of the balance, but for hop heads, this is a very nice beer. presario (3002), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
