On tap at Hollingshead. Clear gold with white head. Aroma of citrus peel, resin and hops. Flavor is pine, citrus and spice. Ends with a bit of bitterness. Well balanced. Would buy again.

Aug 20, 2008 Bonus bottle from Kramer. Thanks Jason! Following the instructions I am drinking this the day I received it, as if I would do anything else with a new russian river beer. Pours golden with a small white head and nice lace. Nose is very nice floral and piney hops with some nice sweet malts, balanced very well. Flavor is similar, but a bit more herbal and dirty/spicy hops with a lot of grapefruit, and a lot of pine. Nice, easy drinking medium body. Finish is lightly bitter and nicely dry with a bit of hop resin. This stuff is pretty good but it doesn’t hold a candle to pliny.

Aug 20, 2008 bottle bought in Colorado! golden/copper pour with thin head. nice fresh wet hops and big citrus in aroma. beautiful hoppy, sweet malts. great balance. a bitterness that works down to the belly. solid.

Aug 20, 2008 bottle shared by JMFG: pours a golden honey with a small white head. aroma is a great sweet hops and nice malt to go along with it. the hops seem so fresh. flavour is a good wet hop bitter earthy a nice malt but does not balance the hops wich is ok .

Aug 20, 2008 Bottle via Dunk, thanks Steve! That lasted in the fridge less than 24hrs. Pours golden/copper color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, caramel, floral. Flavor is huge blast of pine, citrus notes, that settle into caramel and grapefruit. Palate is medium+, medium carbonation, finished bitter. Resiny finish, sticky on the lips. Surprised its only 70IBU, ranks up with the best IPA’s!!

Aug 20, 2008 @Richmond/Williamsburg Gathering-16.9 oz bottle-pours a thin white head and yellow color. Aroma is pine/citrus. Taste is pine/pungent/earthy/citrus, hint of medium malt. Semi dry. Thanks Chris for sharing.
