May 7, 2008 Pretty golden pour with a oil slick of a white head. WOW...is that tart, or what? Big green apple, sour orange, and maybe sour lemon (I’m wingin’ it here, bro!) I’m enjoying the puckering effect (painful though it is) enormously. The sour funkiness continues unabated right through the finish...no apologies here. Very, very, nicely brewed!

Apr 14, 2008 Growler. Beer muled by Ali. Hazy golden/pale body with a medium sized, creamy white head. Funky, bretty nose with lactic acid, light acetic acid, dusty yeast. lots of cherry and peach. The flavor is moderately sour, lightly sweet with lots of peach, apple, some cherry, lactic and acetic acids, yogurt, melon and citrus. Medium body is round with moderate carbonation. Finish is long with a lasting acidity. Awesome.

Mar 14, 2008 Beautiful in the glass- sparling light golden with a small white head. One of the most sour beers I’ve ever had. Rewarding and challenging. Mild citric sour fruits on acetic acid. More punishing as it warms and loses effervescence. Tastes a tad bit of salt or mineral. Delicious but one dimensional and extreme.

Mar 23, 2008 Golden hazy yellow with minimal head. Aroma is sour and barny with a touch of plum. Very sour up fruit with a nice fruity sweetness from the pluots. Finishes dry and sour begging you to sip for some more.

Mar 15, 2008 Pours a hazy peach color with a white head. Aroma is lots of brett, funk, tart fruit, and some earthyness. Flavor is tart fruit, brett, funk, and a fruity finish.

Sep 15, 2008 Draft @ Monk’s. After a Supplication and a Pliny this one had its work cut out for it and it delivered with a nice fruity/sour mix. Golden-amber? (it was dark) coloring with a decent size head. Aroma is heavy on the pluots with other summer fruits and citrusy sourness on display. Flavor is solid pluot with a nice dose of sourness. This one just makes me think of a warm day. Nice feel and a solid finish. Another awesome sour from Vinny!

Mar 28, 2008 Updated: Jul 8, 2008Drank this from a 13 oz tulip glass at the brewpub. Color is a cloudy orange, with a small white head. Light lacing. Nose is tart and sour fruit. Mouthfeel is lively. Flavor are incredibly complex and while sour you can taste apricots. Long dry finish. Far and away the best fruit beer I have ever seen. Simply amazing stuff.

Reminds me exactly of the smell of eating sour cherries at my grandmothers house in Maryland. Exactly. Pale yellow color. Mellow mild flavor. What aspecial treat. First rating: 9,2,9,3,18:4.1.
