Strong nose of cherries and apples. Pours a deep coppery brown with an extreme amount of fizz. Good notes of cherries and brown sugar with maybe some caramel and wood in there as well. Finish is dry and crisp. Well worth the money spent.

Bottle with kudos to coyotehunter for sharing. Looks and pours like a shaken up Coke... just a little lighter in color, but with a massive and ephemeral head. Aromas are heavy with tart cherries, sweaty funk and brown sugar. Flavor is thick with sour cherries, green apples and a soda like fizziness on the palate. Yum!

Bottle, batch 001x4. Pours a clear cola color with a fizzy lil’ head. Oak, brett, sweat, and some nice red fruits in the nose. Beautiful explosion of flavors going on here. This one REALLY needs to sits at room temp for a bit before it really blooms, it should not be served cold. Sour cherry, grapes, some really pleasant woody vinegar, dry vinous flavors. Really really nice. One of the best from Russian River.

Bottle at home ...With Fin ... Thanks to iowaherkeye for this one ... This one marks my 3000th ... and its my 4th of 5 TOP50 of the evening (or would have been if i handt knocked Cable Car out . Sorry folks) ... and now for the beer ... deep brown ... deep dull fruits and raisins in nose ... bit over fizzy ... OH NO .. its really not me and i was soo looking forward to it as the Dark sour of the evening ... musty clawing chewwie ... maybe some cherry ...yeah really not for me ... lets say REALLY glad to have tried again ...but even more pleased i had Fin to share it with ... TK 2 remain of the bottle the next day ... muddy brown ...light sourness some balsamic vinegar nose... tart apples ... quite a bit of the currants show ... quite acidic ... All three of the Sours ive tried the remains of seem to have improved a bit and this one shows the most change ... Its still not my thing but i drinkable now. prob about 2.7

Draft @ Monk’s: Had this at the Brett Pack Dinner during PBW. Poured a nice brown color with not much head. The aroma was sour, oak, vanilla and cherry. The flavor was very wine like, dry oak, cherry, currants, vanilla, sour and tart. Overall, FAN-tastic beer. I want more.

Thanks to whomever brought this to Redlight before the O-Town Throwdown! Pours reddish brown with a sour and tart fruity aroma. Flavors are sour fruits and a little malt. Very good.

Bottle. Pours chocolate reddish with a light beige head. Smell is tart, cherry like with dark fruit, from the currants. Taste is quite sour with tart cherries and berries, some light hops and noticeable funk. Medium body and carbonation and very enjoyable overall. Perhaps my favorite Russian River Sour, ahead of Supplication.
