Commercial Description:
We turned our regular Damnation recipe into a Tripel. It is bittered with Tomahawk and has Sterling and Cascade in the mid-boil and finish. The beer was then aged on new American oak chips for two to three weeks.

Pours out hazy gold with creamy white head. Taste is sweet malt with crisp hops. Not much oak flavor however nice spice and funk. Smooth and balanced. No alcohol burn. Great brew.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours clear deep gold with micro thin white head. The aroma is full of apricot, sweet ripe apples, prunes, Belgian candi sugar and tart aspirin. The taste hits first with a wave of Belgian candi sugar to go along with thick sugary notes of apples, prunes and near ripe apricots. It then moves toward sugary malts before a dryness runs the experience to the finish. Very tasty stuff.

Draught at City Beers, SF Golden with a medium, white head. Spicy aroma with some grassiness. Citrus and medium grassy bitterness in the flavour. A very good tripel indeed!

Bottle of Batch 23 shared by cbkschubert at hellbilly’s hellraiser 3.0 tasting. Spice and wheat for aroma. Gold body with white head. Dry fermentation of spice, yeast and wheat. Medium bittering to brew on palate. Thanks Craig.

On tap at Russian River. A phenomenal example of the style, maybe the best in the "Dam nation." Nice golden yellow appearance with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt, yeast, and light fruits. Flavor is more sweet malt and yeast, citrus fruits, pear, apple, and oak. Medium-full mouthfeel for the style, alcohol incredibly well hidden.

Nose of malt, vanilla, pear, light citrus and oak. Light gold to yellow in color, medium to thick mouthfeel. Sweet malts, honey, toast, biscuit, vanilla, oak and light pear esters. Medium finish, slightly sweet, low bitterness. Interesting take, maybe a bit drier and more oak, still slight cloying nature to it.
