Very similar to the regular Damn in flavor, just smothered in oak and with a much softer carbonation and a lush mouthfeel. wetherel (1641), Encinitas, California, USA

Bretty phenolics in the aroma. No sourness. Kind of like an all-Brett beer. Easy to drink. hapjydeuce (773), Del Mar, California, USA

Another rarity I was stoked to see make an appearance. Clear blond color with a bubbly white head. Light fruity phenols of pear, coriander and Belgian-style yeasts loft off the surface. Pleasant flavor of banana, pear and clove similar to regular Damnation. The oak aging is faint, I was expecting more prominence. Easy finish with a thinned body. Pretty damn good, but I don’t see it beating Damnation by much. ficklepixel (5), USA does not count | 4.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Mar 3, 2008 I tasted this beer at City Beer in San Francisco. It has the perfect balance between tart and oakey smoothness. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA

I like Damnation but this version adds so much more in complexity and is so smooth, I would certainly encourage Vinny to do this again - I want some bottles of my own.
