Commercial Description:
We turned our regular Damnation recipe into a Tripel. It is bittered with Tomahawk and has Sterling and Cascade in the mid-boil and finish. The beer was then aged on new American oak chips for two to three weeks.

Pours a bubbly golden orange color with a huge foamy sticky head. Aromas are super fruity--citrus, pear, peach, a bit of woodiness and some alcohol. Unexpectedly huge flavors... fruity with a bit of nice hoppy bitterness, loads of sugary citrus, apple, peach, pear, some of the woody funkiness. A bit of alcoholic bitterness to remind you that it’s 10.75%. Mouthfeel was thick and heavy, very sugary and slick but still well-carbonated and prickly. Good stuff.

(750ml bottle, Batch 23) Pours a cloudy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of oak, citrus, barnyard, floral, candi sugar, and banana. Flavor of spicy yeast, oak, grass, citrus, and florals with a dry, somewhat bitter finish.

Bomber from Alex in trade. Pours light orange with a medium sized head. Aroma has orange marmalade, oak, and some raw sugar. Flavors start fruity sweet, reminiscent of a lemon bar and orange marmalade. Mouthfeel is luxuriously full with a long finish. Lingering notes add alcohol warmth, clove and a hint of bitterness. This beer is delicious, and made even better by the tangy brie cheese I tasted alongside it!

Bottle courtesy of mikeandi, brought by DuffmanSW, also shared with Hophead22 and JoeTheYounger, enjoyed at Hangar 24. Phew. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma is fresh fruits, vanilla and some spiciness. Flavor is Is very fruity with some pear and pineapple, a touch of citrus, a little vanilla and a little spice. Very subtle notes of oak. Finishes dry. Mouthfeel is just about perfect, Full bodied but not too full and balanced by moderately lively carbonation. That with the dry finish make this stuff very refreshing for such a big beer. I like.

750ml bottle courtesy of mikendi on BA via DuffManSW and not shared by NicktheElder cause he’s a girl. Orangish/yellow pour, sweet aroma and flavor, not alot of wood character to it, but overall pretty tasty, better than the regular version.
