| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 30, 2008 750ml bottle. Batch 42. Hazy, golden apple juice color with champaine like bubbles. I love they haze in the appearance, it make the beer very appitizing to drink. Brilliant white, moderate, mostely diminishing head, which leave some nice lace behind. Complex, classic belgian golden ale aroma. Apples, clove, banana, honey, and ester muskyness. Taste exactly replicates the aroma. Body is wonderfully viscuos and chewy with generous prickly carbonation Beaver (600), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

The aroma is sweet sugary malts, some banana and clove, and some citrus.
The flavor is sweet sugary malts, citric melon with a little spice. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, it’s not very balanced or complex. It’s far too much towards the sweet side, but I find myself liking it regardless. This is definitely a beer that is greater than the sum of its parts. grandridge (222), Port Clinton, Ohio, USA
