Pours a clear glowing orange golden with a lovely dense creamy fine frothy white head. Quite similar to the Alesmith Horny Devil I had last night. Aroma shows some oxidation, some light citrus, candi sugar, some fruity, Belgian yeast, doughy. Flavor follows, like an abbey triple, doughy, yeasty, very distant fruitiness, a bit of banana, alcohol, vanilla, candi sweetness at first but finishes quite dry, slightly earthy, hops in the finish and aftertaste, with a little alcohol bite. Medium/full bodied with a much lighter mouth-feel, strong carbonation, fizzy with a softer bite, ubiquitous, dry and crisp feeling. This is a better crafted beer than the Alesmith but I think I would rather drink the Alesmith. SudsMcDuff (1692), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA
