omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 16, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale amber. Light acidic barnyrad aroma. Dryish with fairly clean mouthfeel. Citric and lively with some grassy hops. Has some similarities to good, dry cider. Not as complex as for instance Supplication, but still very good. Oakes (6973), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Feb 11, 2006 Draught, at the brewpub Hazy light amber colour. Soapy, perfumey hop character with strawlike pale malts adding to the mix. Fresh, fruity character with light dusty yeast notes, hints of pear and a good amount of brett. Great beer - takes the effort of a master and utilizes it in a beer for the proletariat without either dumbing it down nor pricing it up. Kick ass. argo0 (6229), Washington DC, USA Apr 6, 2006 (draft) Clear golden body topped by a pillowy, creamy, thick off-white head that leaves fantastic lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, Bret, oak, light vinegar, lemon. Taste is medium sweet, Bret/oak, light lemon, grassy. Soft, light-medium body. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Updated: Sep 14, 2008Date: 02/01/2006

CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA Mar 28, 2006 Sampled from growler: Pours a slightly hazy copper orange color with a thick, frothy, clumpy-lacing white head. Tart, sour, funky, and mildly citric aroma has a touch of dry earthy hops. Body starts with some sweet earthy maltiness, a touch of orange peel and a nicely balanced funky tartness. Smooth flavorful finish. Another winner from Russian River.
