Bottle... O-Town Pre-RBSG 07... This beer rocks!...This beer rocks!... Murky golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. Lots of black sediment lounges on the bottom of the glass. The nose is mainly made up of sharp cheese, lemon, damp rawhide / leather and horse blanket funk with subtleties of acidic fruits, pale malts and breadsy yeasts. The flavor is an onslaught of acidity with moderate bitterness. No sweetness contributes to provide balance... not necessary in my book. Hints of horse blanket funk on the palate as well. Medium-bodied with a coarse mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Pungent, sandy, dry finish. Kudos to boboski for sharing!

Courtesy dsnowden. Hazy orange/gold, small frothy white cap. Nose of citrus zest, gym socks, white grapes, oak, floral perfume, light dose of honey. Similar flavor with some earthiness and a little heavy on the lacto. Medium body, balanced carbonation, a little juicy. Solid brew.

Courtesy dsnowden. Thanks again Dan. You are the man! Pours a cloudy light orange with a small bubbly white head. Smells of slight acidity and sweet tangerines and grapes. Nice citrus. Some yeast as well. Lightly acidic on the palate, get a good dose of some orange peel and white grapes. Quite smooth and easy drinking. Finishes very clean and the aftertaste is like you just took a sip of fresh orange juice. No bitterness at all which was good. Damn nice brew.

Batch 001. I have eagerly awaited trying this since it arrived. Decent head formation upon pouring, the nose yields a hint of what is to come. As I begin inhaling the aromas, I pick up a cacophony of smells, funky, yeasty, fruit, sour. The aroma of the grapes is there. Some citrus peeking through. The flavor is what I had hoped it would be, there is a sort of funky-fruity mustiness that is addictive. The tartness is so balanced it is seamless in it’s approach. WOW!!!

Batch 001. Thick, sedimented dandelion pour. White grapes, pineapple and honey on the nose. Definite attic yeasts, the farmhouse during rain, a wet dog on the dirt. A warm rush of butterscotch unfolds with warmth. The sour blast leaves a smoky haze to fill the mouth, sparkling softly with notes of Riesling sweetness, mild tannins, lemon juice. Flashes of sharp peppers and spices, softened by the quiet oak presence which tempers the impact of so much infection quite deftly. Finishes on a dry Chevre bite amidst the tang. The ancient wilderness beckons. Thanks Ernest!

375 ml shared with fordest. Poured a yellow hazzy orange with a cute white head. Aromas of sour cherries, figs, and wood. Tastes of sour cherries, and a nice acidic background. I like this style.

Bottle from Drewbeerme, thanks. Upon opening you get hit with a very sour aroma, mostly sour cherries. Pours cloudy amber with an of white head. Tastes of very tart cherries and grapes. Maybe i’m not ready for this style, I may have to rerate in the future.

375 ml bottle thanks to drewbeerme. Lots of wonderful sour aromas coming from this cloudy yellow/orange brew with a really nice white head. Cherry and wine like aromas gave way to similar flavors. Flavors were more cherry and grape with a somewhat acidic aftertaste that was quite nice. Good stuff. Another good Russian River beer.
