Botella. Pours a murky deep orange colour with a small short lasting fizzy white head. Sweet quite sour fruity aroma. Good dry mouthfeel. The flavour has a good profound sourness, a good maltiness, bit fatty sweetness, some wood and yeast. Quite dry well alsting sour finish. Thanks yespr!

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Muddy golden colour. Aroma of sweet barnyard, yeas, sour fruit, soap, perfume. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and dry texture. Moderated sour and sweet flavour. Sour fruity and soapy finish.

375 ml bottle courtesy of FlacoAlto - Pours a hazy golden color with a thin white head. Virtually no lacing. Aroma is tart esters and light oak. Flavor is tart esters, oak, and brett. Medium body. The sourness of the beer really seems to linger on the palate. I’m sure this is a good beer, but Sour beers are not my cup of tea. However, I want to thank Sebastian for giving me this bottle.

375ml bottle from Drewbeerme. Pours a murky brown/orange color with no head. Smells citrusy and sour at first and then lingering yeasty and woody. Tastes citrus/lemony sour, it really only tastes slightly of grapes to me, long-lasting wood flavors in the background. Medium to thin body with vibrant carbonation and pucker sourness. Not the most sour beer ever, but still sour and good.

Bottle (375ml) shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev & garthicus -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Batch 001. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a small diminishing white head. Nice aroma, it’s oaky, fruity and sour. Flavour of sour fruit, white wine, malt and hints of oak. Yeasty finish. Medium bodied. Not one of Russian River’s best but still quite good.

Bottle shared with Blankboy, Hogtown Harry, and Garthicus, courtesy of Harry. Batch 1. Rating #2100. Wonderful aroma - perfectly sour, light fruit notes. Dark hazy yellow, very little white head. Beautiful taste - again, nicely sour and then some, almost a white wine character to the edge of the finish. Very quenching. Complex. Fruity. Very good.

Thanks Harry and by proxy Richard: slightly cloudy orange, teeny, practically non-existant head, wonderful grapefruity - wine aroma. Sour sour flavour, incredible!! mmmmmmmmm

Bottle (375ml - green, corked and caged). Shared with blankboy, garthicus and tupalev, my bottle courtesy of irishboy. Batch 1. Hazy light gold, smallish white frothy head. Aroma - vanilla, sweet malt, pineapple, apricot, marigolds, sweetish white cab-sauv wine. Solid lemon-sour taste, lemon zest, oak tannins and sweet juicy malt - average sticky body, tons of funky acidity. Extra-solid Belgian-style beer mellowed perfectly in a non-BOURBON barrel. Thanks, Richard!!! (Al loved it too).
