Aromas of raisins, yeast, caramel, prunes and a little wheat. Flavors of the same with a light cherry finish with some brown sugar thrown in for good measure. Slight medicinal/smokey (scotch-like) finish. JohnC (2275), Mission Viejo, California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 10, 2005 the temptation really knocked the mother of all beers down a peg or two in this glass, mellowed it all out and gave it a subtle tartness and depth, very interesting contrast between these beers, hints of dusty chocolate from the MoAB, thinned body with a more zesty belgian flavor - all melted into a ruby hue jazz88 (2237), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 10, 2005 Tap @ Toronado. Brown in color with ruby tints. Strong wine like elements with chardonnay barrels from the Temptation mix. A slightly sour finish and fairly robust throughout. The combination brings out a lambic character on an otherwise darker beer.
