Sampled at the Carolina Crew gathering in Greenville. Big thanks to Turdferguson for sharing! Very oaky and lightly sour funky aroma. Nicely sour and tart flavor. Dry finish. Very easy to drink for a sour ale - a style that I don’t have much experience with and I haven’t enjoyed much in the past. Really enjoyable beer! Thanks, Sam!

From bottle #30 at sk8vikings American blind tasting. Pours hazy orange and with a lacing white head. Aroma is dry and acidic with a solid orange fruity aroma. Flavour is solid acidic and orang fruity. Dense flavour yet towards smooth. Acidic and citric finish with a nice sulphor and wooden touch. Finish makes me shiver. Smooth and utterly wellbalanced.

#30 Bottle [Sk8viking great American blind tasting] Average fin bubbled white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy golden copper color. Aroma of fresh apple, mild barnyard, light Bratt, soap, vinegar and light fruit notes. Over the palate came quite complex notes. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation and dry texture. Moderated to heavy sour flavor with light sweetness. Lingering sour and fresh apple like finish. Excellent and quite complex. 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 17 = 4.0

Bottle from bitbucket. Thanks so much Bob! Pours orange and hazy with a thin white lace. Nose is very tart and bretty with a good but of oak. Flavor is a very nice tart and sour treat. Slightly acidic mouthfeel that keeps begging me for another sip. Its impossible for me not to love ever russian river sour that touches my lips. Simply Awesome.

Finally getting to try this at a point where I can take notes. Pours gold with a white head. Smells dry, bretty, grassy, sweet, peppery, some tartness. Taste lives up to the nose. Nice!

Big thanks to Drewbeerme for sharing this beer and being so patient for me to enter my rating of it. Hazy orange-red with a small beige head. Aroma is dirty sour red with cherry but mostly all I can say about this beer is it is really in your face with all parts of the aroma. Dirty strong green apple, cherry, strong acidic fruit, very nice. Medium body but very acidic. What a tasty beer to celebrate bottleworks 9th.
