Nose: Hard cider, lemon, cherry with a hint of oak and a bit of funk. Flavor: Big citrus/lemon up front. Medium bodied, super acidic with a touch of tannins in the finish. After warming up a bit we got some spices (cinnamon, clove) and a nice green apple jolly rancher tartness. Great beer! Might be able to take the place of a dry white wine for food pairing.

Pours a golden-brown color with brett aroma/funk. Nice tartness with cherry/dark fruit tones and oak leading to a sour finish. Good stuff.

Bottle shared by pepsican. Thanks! Poured a hazy medium orange color with a white head. Attractive aroma of sour cherry, fruity candy, barnyard funk, and red wine vinegar. Medium bodied with moderate acidity and carbonation. Distinct oaky flavor accompanied by red wine vinegar and sour fruits. Delicious.

Sampled compliments of Pepsican. Pours a cloudy golden color with some floaties. The aroma is interesting it’s got a great funky barnyard character but there is a soapiness that I almost never find in sours, it’s not a bad thing it just caught me right off guard. The flavor is wonderfully sour with notes of oak an some citrus that works with the sourness to give some great lemon flavors. Notes of cherry and good yeast, pretty acidic but an absolute pleasure. Thanks Andy.

750ml bottle. Pours a hazy almost murky coppery orange and a foamy fizzy beige head with cobwebby lace. Aroma is funked out brett- tons of old wood, light oak, cherry pit- and almond fruity raisin, and almost a lemony citrus hint. Funky brett and pedio flavor - orange zest, toasted malts, nuts and light sweetness, almost briney and salty- goaty stinky cheese- dark tart cherries and cherry pit astringency in the end along with a nice acidic sour finish. Another winner from RR.

750ml bottle election style. nice golden orange color, healthy head that creeps out of the bottle, awesome. Smells sour, fruit, mmmm. It tastes excellent, complex sour lemons, cherries, supplication, some funk, hint of wood. This is one of the best sours I have ever tasted, my friend only wanted a taste and I drank the whole bottle, wow! Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 11-05-2008 05:28:53 update 09/19/09 not as good as it was almost a year ago, the complexity was muddled by an overpowering sour pucker.
