AmEricanbrew (1008), Swamp Shreveport, Left Coast, Louisiana, USA Apr 8, 2008 Bottle. The case box is stamped Bottled Nov 7 2007. Hazy amber with an off white head. Good nose is barnyard, tart cherries, lemon and wood. Medium body and smooth. Taste mirrors the aroma with cherries, lemon, wood and funky brett. A lingering finish is nicely sour and stings your tongue. This brew is/will be an American classic. I’m thankful now that i picked up extra bottles to age. Fantastic.
bb (2154), Martinez, California, USA Oct 7, 2008 Bottle. Amber beer with a low off-white head. Nice sour acetic aroma with oak and a light fruitiness. Acetic (but not over the top) flavor with oak and soft malt to round. Some green apple notes as well. Medium body. Acetic not lingers nicely. Brett shows nicely in combo with the acetic quality. Rciesla (813), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Oct 6, 2008 Bottle opened post Belgian Beer fest in ME. Wow what an awesome creation. A sour dry puckering fruit infusion of lemon citrus and sour apples.
