Aroma has a nice mix of floral, spicy, peppery, and citrus notes. Mildly hazy orange body with a small, off-white head. Spicy, coriander wheat flavors are present to start. A little acidic in the middle. Finishes with lemon, pepper, and more coriander. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA

Really not a lot here. Maybe a palate cleanser or or acidic with-food beer.Unspectacular. Zinister (1207), Houston, Texas, USA

Despite it’s smooth finish I found a great layered complexity to the flavors. Highly recommended with a meal or on a hot day! bumpskier (25), Sonoma, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 27, 2008 On tap at the pub in Santa Rosa. Pours slightly hazy with very little head. Carbonation is on the low to medium side. The aroma is very unique. Varying from the yeast to the many flowers used. The beer is served a little too cold and truly mellows as it warms to around 50F. It was a pleasant surprise & yet quite similar to other RRBC Belgian beers. Quite nice. I was very glad to get some before it goes away. beerguy101 (3971), Newark, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 25, 2008 Tasted at the May Northern California Beer Tasting. This is the version brewed at Russian River by Vinnie and Agostino. This spiced beer poured a slightly hazy light orange gold color. Large sized white foamy head. The aroma is floral and very delicate; there is a hint of roses and some fruit. A light bodied spiced ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of very delicate flavors, floral and roses, some honey and a fruit I guess is elderberry. Nice beer. You will really need to drink this one all by itself, any food pairing would overwhelm the flavors. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
