Aroma is faintly malty with a touch of citrus, wheat and European hops. Body starts semi-sweet and grainy turning more dry toward the smooth, but bland, bittersweet finish. An easy-drinking beer, but pretty mediocre. herbjones (742), Orange, California, USA

Light use of hops along with an almost delicate wheat tartness makes this an easy drinker. JohnC (2283), Mission Viejo, California, USA

Nice golden colored ale (no shock here). Slightly sweet a bit malty, it’s very easy to drink Heatwaves (56), Santa Ana, California, USA

As a golden, it was very typical to others in the category with nothing too dynamic about it. But it would be a great beer on a hot summer’s day. (That is, if you didn’t have access to any of their other selections.) Very pleasant, but can’t hold a candle to the Plinys, or any of the ’tions’. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA
