Commercial Description:
Blonde in color, this mild ale is brewed with a blend of four malts to impart a subtle, malt bouquet. A smaller than normal hop addition is made in the beer to keep the flavor mild and clean.

Tasting Notes from Fall 2000: What a wonderful wheat! Minimally hopped, nice aroma, sits nicely on the palate and goes down great. Almost tastes like a lager

On tap at Hollingshead Deli: Pours a clear bright golden with a thin, fizzy white head. Aroma is faintly malty with a touch of citrus, wheat and European hops. Body starts semi-sweet and grainy turning more dry toward the smooth, but bland, bittersweet finish. An easy-drinking beer, but pretty mediocre.

Tap@Russian River. Had it under the name blonde ale, or at least thats what the girl behind the bar said it was. Pretty malty, grainy and lemony, pretty simple.

Draught, Russian River. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Pretty rough.

On tap @ Russian River poured a clear gold with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of straw, light carmel and a hint of apple. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, lighjt carmel and a hint of fruitiness with a crisp dry finish.

Draft. Amber golden color with a big white head. Not much aroma - some citus and grain. Citrus and an earthy flavor. Slightly dusty aftertaste.
