| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 18, 2008 Draft @ Russian River. Pours a clear, golden-orange color; white head with solid retention and fine-bubbled lacing; great pour. Resiny, densely bitter pine and mineral and tree fruit bitterness in the aroma; oily, dense, resiny, and delightful. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy, dense tree fruits and minerals and lime, following the aroma; gorgeously hoppy, resiny, drinkable IPA; great beer. Lengthy finish: mineral bitterness, toasty malts, and perfectly dry core. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2008 Tap @ RR. Clear orange color, short head. Aroma of hops, pine, some caramel. Nice dry bitter hoppy taste. Like a good IPA should be. chrisafari (100), Orange, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 11, 2008 Aroma: pine and citrus hops. Pours amber light brownish orange. Flavor is crisp and spicy pine and citrus. Leaves the throat nice and dry like an IPA should. There is a nice balance between the malt and the hops. Medium body, okay lacing. Drinkability is medium to high. Really nice IPA, very well done. Not as good a Blind-Pig, but still a nice IPA from RR. FlssmrBrewAlum (1172), Lisle, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 8, 2008 Sampler at the RR Brewpub (Santa Rosa, CA). Golden body with some crisp dark notes in hue with a decent head that laces. Aromas are a mellow hoppiness with a touch of citrus, possibly the beckoning of the beast. Not exploding. A light hopped gem, touches of resin and citrusy grapefruit. Refreshing and light. Not as big of a body as earlier anticipated. Cheers! oreogobbler (217), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 4, 2008 Sweet hop aroma: pineapple, tangerine, some acidity, a wonderful blend of smells.
Very bright. Pours completely transparent dark orange color, with a thick ring of a head, and some interesting lacing.
Flavor: a tiny bit of hops upfront followed by orange rind, tangerine juice. and a sweet floral arrangement. Palate is excellent and so well balanced. Not very complex, but an amazing beer just the same. fakepurseninja (785), Washington, USA

Lots of soft grapefruit notes with light but sharp pine on top of a great, medium bodied sweet caramel malt backbone. Kind of a biscuity/bready malt component. Great drink. slimchill (781), Austin, Texas, USA
