Aromas are muted, light grainy sweetness. Body is nice, sweetness pervades with a nice mellow feel. Fruity estery notes of banana and citrus mixed with watery lightness. Ok. No real hop presence save a touch of bittering in the finish. Nice, just not really my style if it isn’t oozing of flavor. oreogobbler (217), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Pours a cloudy dark yellow. Thin soapy head.
Aroma: Sour fermented fruit, banana, spice, musk.
Flavor is phenomenal: musky banana and spice flavor. I’m not educated enough in spice flavors to list them, but I get some saffron and cinnamon among more amazing other spices. Palate is balanced but a bit sharp upfront. It then mellows into a nice hop flavor. slimchill (780), Austin, Texas, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 20, 2008 Draught. Cloudy pale orange with very little head, but good lacing from the initial froth. Coriander dominates the aroma, citrus is in the background. Wonderful flavor, also coriander-led, well pronounced against subtle citrus notes. Very clean with a light spiciness. Thick and dry palate that suits the flavor perfectly. Oscbert (547), Sacramento, California, USA
