On tap at the brewery. Cloudy pale straw color with a white head. Leaves some wet spotty lacing. Aroma is bananas and coriander, with some citrus in there too. Wheat malt flavor with estery notes of banana, also lemon and a big dose of spice. Highly carbonated, with a dry spicy finish that showcases a touch of hops. Great summer refresher beer.

Tap at pub. Haystack yellow, hazy...with a white head. Nose of clove and banana...more like a hefe than I expected. Flavors were similar with a crisp, fresh lemon finish. Solid.

tap. A fairly muscular white beer. It pours with a more darker yellow color than a typical white beer. It also seems to have more of a body. Great aroams of cloves and psices, flavors of the same with a subtle soapiness. Finishes clean and refreshing.

We thought this was a hefeweizen, which I guess isn’t too far off from what it is. An amazingly crisp and plesant beer. Wonderful spice blend on the tongue, a very pleasing yellow cloudy color, and a crisp finish.

Poured from tap a hazy orangish-blonde with a medium sized creamy head. Aromas is soft with hints of clove and banana with a touch of citrus. Flavor is a nice banana, clove, doughy malt, and light citrus with soft spiciness and honey at the end. There is also a yeasty tartness. The palate is only lightly sweet with a malty mouth fullness and a creamy honey finish. I really liked this one reminded me more of a hefeweizen than wit.

On tap at Russian River. This is nice, but nowhere up to par with their other beers. Pours a murky straw color with a fine white head. A bit of orange and coriander in the flavor, but it’s a bit watery and muddy in flavor in my book. Quite drinkable, but pales in relation to their other amazing beers.

On tap at Russian River. Slightly hazy golden-yellow color. Light citrusy/fruit-punch aroma with a load of spiciness, lemon peel, and coriander. Very heavy on the sweetness and coriander. Medium-bodied with pretty light carbonation. Decently made, "good" in a general sense, but this beer sort of mired me down, just too much, couldn’t handle it... like the last guy said, it just ain’t "crisp"...

On tap at Russian River brewery, nothing too exceptional to talk about here, but worth noting as a tasty refreshment. Hazy light yellow appearance and some thin white head capping it off. I never got too much into witbiers, maybe why I didn’t find this all too exciting. Slight orange-citrus aroma, with perfume and yeast. Definitely an easy-drinker, very refreshing. Some hops linger on the palate but I couldn’t quite distinguish other flavors. Needs a bit more crispness in my book.
