Jul 27, 2005 This past weekend, I had the pleasure of sampling 13 different Russian River beers at a local tasting in Southern California. The breadth of the entire line was incredible both in quality and creativity, but sadly this brew ranked last on my list. Admitedly, this was their first attempt at a pale ale, but it lacked some of the true pale ale flavor. It actually tasted timilar to their golden ale. It wasn’t that it was bad... it would be a very drinkable beer, but it just wasn’t as dynamic as their other offerings.

Jul 22, 2005 A nice example of a american pale ale, nice smooth hop content with fruity esters. Differant from other APA’s. Something that would be nice if I could get it in 12 packs :)
