| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 12, 2006 on cask at PP Real Ale Festival 2006. pours a clear black color with a medium sized tan head that was very thick in appearance. Aroma is like charcoal and beer farts (thats the best way i can think to describe it). Flavor is very porter like, roasty and watered down with mild hop hints that came powering through at the end. I just really couldn’t get past the acidity and nose on this beer to enjoy it. Not what I look for in a stout at all. bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2006 I tried this at the hollingshead tasting, and tasted less than my group did, "Because I wasn’t feeling a Stout at the moment" I should of had more, a nice brew, mellow, good flavor, but not overpowering, roasted flavor, smooth, would drink anytime. solid.
