omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 16, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Ruby colour. Yeasty cardamom aroma. Light-medium bodied. Fairly sweet and somewhat bready with firm mouthfeel. Lightly syrupy with low hop rate. Quite subtle. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Feb 11, 2006 Draught, at the brewpub Burgundy colour. Relatively mild nutty aroma, maybe some wishful malty accents. Notes of alcohol, light malt/caramel plus maybe some mild spices. It’s got a Belgian character and a complexity but in this instance it perhaps just doesn’t vibe with me. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 11/29/2006

CaptainCougar (4633), Rockville, Maryland, USA Apr 15, 2007 On tap at Father’s Office on 11/30/06: Transparent dark copper pour has some deep ruby hues and a wispy-lacing light tan head. Sweet, toasty caramel malty aroma has a healthy dose of pine needles and mint leaf along with a touch of Bretty funk. Body starts effervescent and airy with a touch of sweetness toward a stickier, funky spiced finish. A nicely-balanced and interesting brew.
