One of the best triple IPAs you can get. The very essence of hop aroma and bitterness has been captured in this beer. It has your typical Simcoe citrus flavor but much more than that. It’s complex and yummy but only suitable to the beer enthusiast.

A very big, harsh IPA. The bouquet is very full - very floral, tangeriney, even a touch of honey and melon. After those tastes run through your face you get a sharp SCHWAK of hot pine and peach in the pre- and proper finish. Such an achievement. This many hops could actually taste like hemlock, but it is madly drinkable. Skill.

Really nice orange colour with only a bit of soapy head. I’m getting sick so only a bit of juicy grapefruit pokes itself through the nose. Lots of might malts up front, the nice mostly grape fruit hops quickly present themselves. Flavours of citrus and bitter resin hops are there too. This is a very unassuming beer that is in redibly drinkable. Certianly one of the best IPAs I’ve ever had. I really appreciate this one, Odeed!

Hand bottle(by irishboy i do believe?) procured in a trade with odeed. Thanks dude! Pour was fairly flat though a thin light tan head was roused making the appearence that much more enjoyable. Hazy orange copper colored brew. Big, juicey citrus nose, mellow grapefruit and some malts making their way in there. Body was medium with a soft carbonation, nicely resiny. Plenty of hoppy goodness on the palate, fruity, citrusy really fresh tasting. Malts bringing up the back with a touch of alc. to keep things warm though not in an 11%!! kind of way. Dry finish is hop loaded and generously bitter. A true pleasure. Good old Russian River, amazing stuff. Thanks again odeed!

Hand bottle shared graciously the day after arrival by slob. Pour was a little flat, so the appearance was a bit off for the style, but certainly acceptable (head not as big, not as many bubbles rising in the body). Full orange and citrus in the nose. The flavor followed the aroma, rich orangey citrus above all else, nice bitter finish, just really drinkable, great stuff. Can’t imagine this on draft. Thanks, Bert, sorry I drank half of your one bottle :).

on tap @ Toronado, dangerous because of the ease upon which it slides down. Sad that it is gone.

Huge thanks to Irishboy for sending this handbottle to me! Pours a lightly cloudy orange gold color, with a small, swirly white head. Big, juicy hop aroma starts pouring out as soon as liquid hits glass. Very fresh smelling with a good dose of pine and grapefruit citrus too. Lovely aroma. The flavor was pretty crisp, the hops were quite abundant as expected. More piney than fruity i’d say overall although there were semblances of both in the flavor. Balanced pretty nicely for a big brew, the big alcohol was masked proficiently, with only a slight heat burn as it went down. Good hop bitterness in the finish and lingering aftertaste. Great double IPA. Thanks again Richard for the hookup!
