Extermly hoppy, but not as much as Pliny the Elder. More balanced then the Elder. Tastes very buttery.

Draft pour with lunch@ Brouwers Cafe. An incredibly smooth, easy drinking IPA... 11% abv?? no fucking way ! Clear amber with a white head. Big ass pine sap, floral and grapefruit aromas. Very smooth medium body. Awesome floral and grapefruit hop flavors on a stern, sweet caramel malt base. Everything falls together so well here, it’s tough to believe how huge this beer is. Excellent !

Growler
Appearance: Clean , golden amber look with white smallish top.
Nose: Lovely fresh , big citric , grape aroma. All Hop feel. Super hoppy but presently with grace. Fresh ,organic IPA of IPAs.
Flavor/Palate : Flavors closely mirrored aroma. Bitter, hoppy but somehow balanced. Long lasting citric organic feel. Long smooth refreshing hop finish. Very rich but with out going brutal on you. Such approach must be applauded. Must try for Hop Heads.

No mas, no mas. Am I losing my taste for MegaIPAs? Maybe. Great drink - huge hop components that definitely do not disappoint. Very resinous with big pine and grapefruit character, and when say ’big’, it should read in CAPS, bold, italics, underline, and flashing red font. Its like drinking Pliny the Elder and easting a warrior hop pellet with each sip. As great as it is, its just too big. I walked in the rain from UW to Fremont just to make sure I would get a pint and cant say I would do it again - but a fantastic drink nevertheless.

Hallelujah and jubilee, I’ve died and gone to heaven!! I recently tried this on tap at The Horse Brass in Portland, Oregon. Colour... pours a beautiful golden-orange colour with a thick white head. Nose... Texas grapefruit, Mugho pine resin, and crushed fresh hop cones. Palate... amazingly coating for an IPA of any "multiplication". Sternly piney, citrusy, resinous and viscous. The finish leaves plenty of hoppy bitterness tripping along the back of the palate in a chorus line with marmalade, quince, kumquat and Satsuma peel. Truly, ONE.....singular sensation, every lovely sip I take!!!

On draft at Brouwer’s. Pours a hazy bright orange with very little head. Smells like a hop flower was picked and crushed under my nose. Some malty sweetness - just enough to counter - but this brew is absolutely all about the hops. Mandarin and grapefruit notes dominate. Mouthfeel is thick, nearly syrupy - coats your mouth beautifully and leaves you salivating. Good God this is hoppy. Bitter aftertaste as the sweetness fades, but all around, this is an absolutely delicious brew.

Growler shared by tertons, thank you Nelson! This was my breakfast in bed at EBF, as i laid in bed with the covers half on inhaling the sweet nectar aroma of this delicious IPA, it was an incredible start to an awesome festival. Pours a honey amber body. I could smell this all day like the elder. A brilliant grapefruit, citrus aromatic character with hints of pine and alcohol. Fragrant floral hoppiness, citrus and pear and no disgusting caramel malt bill, just beautiful bouquet of hoppiness. A mild etoh warming puts this one a hair away from perfection. Amazing ipa!

Massive hop bite, with enough taste, it almost chokes you off with hoppiness. Pours a burst orange with trace of fogginess. great balance.
