A hazy orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is lovely hoppy with notes of alfa acids and oranges, as well as light floral notes - A hop soup aroma. The flavor is sweet with alchol, that jumps at You right from the start with a slight burning sensation on the tongue, but it is soon acompaniet by strong hoppy notes, and a bitterness that sets in much earlier than in other beers and grows more and more powerful. Acompanying the bitterness there’s also a note of grapefruit that grown in intensity. The body is very powerful.

(Hand bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a small, off-white head. sweetish aroma of peaches and pine. Fairly full-bodied with sweetish, malty accents, lots of sweet fruit and then a bitter - but not overly so - finish. 060407

Draught at O’Brien’s, San Diego. Clear deep golden, no head. Massive grapefruity hop aroma. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel and loads of perfumy hops. Striking bitter finish. A hop monster with finesse (and a fair bit of alcohol.)

Unclear medium orange color with a small, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly lasting - diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, grapefruit, resin, citrus, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, and a alcohol - peppery bitter spicy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20090411]
