HogTownHarry (3141), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada May 13, 2008 Bottle (750ml). My bottle shared with garthicus and blankboy, via Irishboy - ayyyyy, Richard!. Light clear copper pour, large frothy-foamy lasting white head, plenty of huge floaties in the bottom of the bottle. Mild light sweet blond aroma, clover, timothy and wildflowers, funky yeast but lightly so - there is NO bestiality in this beer whatsoever you bastards!. Taste - grassy, light yeast, tupalev’s friggin dandelions intrude on me so much I have nothing further to add here .... Light, mildly acidic, sweet linger, real clover pungency - really good, easy-drinking.
padrefan98 (574), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA Jul 22, 2008 Bottle purchased from Russian River via internet order. Thank you RR for the chance to buy. A very nice Belgian ale. I love the lower ABV. BMan1113VR (649), Los Angeles (and Dallas, TX), California, USA Jul 21, 2008 Batch 005. Pours a clear gold body with a small, quickly vanishing white head. Aroma of appricots, nectarines, pear, clove, corriander and honey. Taste of light fruits, corriander, and a malty bitterness. SLightly creamy mouthfeel with light carbonation. Not my favorite beer from RR (is this a similar style to Doree?). Hank1980 (327), Athens, Georgia, USA Jul 17, 2008 On tap at RR. Pour is clear golden with a big white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, hops, spice, and light malt. Taste is of yeast, fruit, earthy hops. Body is medium and well carbonated. Nice, easy drinker. Bhops (170), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 14, 2008 on tap at brewery. Nice funk aroma with malty sweetness. Good beer, very smooth and drinkable. kegbear (56), Orange, California, USA Jul 13, 2008 750 ML bottle. Batch 005. Nice Blond Ale that tastes bready and finishes dry. Some bitter spice comes through. A very refreshing summer ale.
