ryan (1705), Beltsville, Maryland, USA Aug 29, 2008 Rating #1700. Batch 005. Courtesy of kmweaver. Dirty golden body with a small white head. The nose is hay, dough, honey and lots of floral hops. The flavor is fairly dry, lightly bitter with dough, honey, herbs, flowers, dusty yeast and light pepper. Medium/light body is lively. Gregis (904), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Aug 28, 2008 Bottle of Batch 003, shared by mreusch. Thanks for sharing this with us, Matt. Pours a bright, nearly clear gold with a thin white skin and some yeasty floaties; nice lace. The nose is bright, yeasty, and fairly clean with a light spiciness and little more. Light-bodied and soft with a dry, mineral finish. Mildly sour citrus, light spicy phenols and a mild mineral finish. This is a well constructed beer, but I find it just a tad uninspired. I wish I could’ve tried the first batch with brett. mreusch (445), Olathe, Kansas, USA Aug 28, 2008 750ml bottle, Batch 003, with thanks to IrishBoy. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a slight fluffy white head, some spotty lacing. Aroma is light spice and citrus hops. Flavor is similar, and ends up being a very light, drinkable, mild beer. Nice stuff albeit not overly exciting. Thanks again Richard!
